Pecan Pie

4 large eggs, beaten
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 teasponn salt
1 1/3 cups light corn syrup
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups pecan halves

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine eggs and sugar in mixing bowl, beat until blended.

Add salt, corn syrup, butter, vanilla and pecans. Mix well. Pour into a prepared pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 25-35 minutes more or until set in center. Let cool before serving.
